Hi all,

my company is currently planning to move the managed cluster into the google cloud. (just compute engine)

Are there any documentations for that?

Or can you provide some good to know facts?

Most interesting is the part on how to send oneagent data from the internal network to the cloud.

Thanks a lot in advance,

Anna

There shouldn't be much of a difference for whatever cloud you use to run the managed cluster.

For the communication of local agent to the cluster you should use an active gate installed in your DC. That way the traffic is compressed and not every one of your servers needs to be able to talk to the google cloud.

You'll likely need to refer to this when configuring firewall rules: Cluster node ports
