Hi all,

I am trying to monitor a service which is based on a technology Dynatrace does not support by default. I am trying to know whether is it possible to write a plugin or something to make Dynatrace detect it as a custom service.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Abilashini,

May I ask - what is the type of process you are trying to monitor?

Thanks,
Hayden

Hi Abilashini,

Sorry I missed your response. Currently, Dynatrace does not support Ballerina out of the box. You can view all supported technologies here: https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/shortlink/section-technology-support

That being said, there is a custom SDK coming that should allow for support of any language, but would require some custom development. Stay tuned for more info on that, and watch the Dynatrace Blog.

Hope this helps,
Hayden
