Loosing datacenter in smartscape while using MZ

Hello,

When I use a management zone, it seems I loose the datacenters in the smartscape? Is this a bug?

The hosts in the selected MZ are part of datacenters, and this is visible when using no MZ

Currently working as intended unfortunately.

The datacenters come from the vmware or cloud integrations, which currently can't be assigned to a management zone. That's why they don't show up in the smartscape if you filter by a MZ.

Hello,

The problem is still there 8 months later. Is there a workaround (except VMWare monitoring via ActiveGate) ? I tried to create a new rule based on "Data Center Services" but it does not work (no data centers found in the preview).

There is not as far as I know.

Data Center Services won't work, they are something completely different and come from an integration with an older Dynatrace Tool (NAM / DCRUM).
