Good morning!

I was just reading the following blog post....

As of OneAgent version 1.175, we strongly suggest that existing customers plan a re-deployment of their OneAgents for Linux so that they all operate in non-privileged mode and deploy all new OneAgents in this mode as soon as possible. For further details, see the complete instructions.

Going forward, we’ll change the OneAgent installer to default to non-privileged mode for all new installations.

https://www.dynatrace.com/news/blog/non-privileged-mode-for-oneagent-on-linux-best-in-class-security-that-doesnt-compromise-functionality/

Open questions around this:

Is it possible now or in the near future to conduct this change to existing OneAgents through auto-updates?

Which version of the OneAgent will install as non-privilege by default and when is that release expected?

Would it be best to wait for the version of the OneAgent that does this by default or should we start to covert all the OneAgents now?

Thank you!

CC: @Bartek S.
