topic Is there a way/command to 'force' an OneAgent to learn if there's any new Active Gate connected? in Open Q&A

The reason for it is that, I want to make sure the OneAgent immediately know there is a new Active Gate deployed, instead of waiting for it to update periodically (because we don't really know how many minutes exactly it is)

Best Regards,

Wai Keat

No there is not, maybe reconnecting the agent will make this faster, but I see changes in the list of endpoints (serverAddress) updated very quicky - usually within a minute.

Remember that even if Agent will know about AG it does not have to use it as connection point. It can still using direct way until next restart, or problems with connection that is using. In general I mean that information about new AG is not mandatory signal to change the way that data are streamed to server instantly.

Sebastian
