Hi Tarjei,

Are you referring to a situation where an agent was already installed, but after a reboot deep monitoring is missing and a service has to be restarted in order to bring the instrumentation back?
If yes, then could you provide us with:

list of services, for which you have observed this behavior

distribution and version of the operating system you are running

agent version being used

This seems to me like a service startup dependency problem.

Regards,
Tomek

Is there any way of ensuring that you will not have to restart the server processes after, for example a restart of the host itself. Or maybe even if there are new processes being started.

I understand that it has to be this way when you install the agent in an already running system, but what about new services after this point, or as I said after a server / host reboot.
