Tomcat not showing in service layer on Smartscape

Hi,

I created a test Java app and deployed using Tomcat with the URL of http://{host_ip}:8080/myapp/ .

After testing the app with requests, I still do NOT see Tomcat in the service layer on Smartscape. I have no problem seeing Nginx or Apache2 services if they are installed on the same host. How should I troubleshoot the Tomcat issue?

Are you sure you are running a tomcat version supported by Dynatrace? For example, Tomcat 10 is not yet supported and support is expected in February.
