How many ActiveGates do I need?

I have 4 networks, do I need 4 ActiveGates? (I'm only considering environment AG)

It depends on several factors, the main ones being:

If you are going to do synthetics, you need a dedicated ActiveGate
If you can get traffic from those 4 networks to one Activegate, it might be the only one you need.
If you have direct connectivity from those 4 networks to the Dynatrace cluster, you might not even need an ActiveGate. Dynatrace does recommend that you use them, though.

Hi @natanael_mendes,

Are these networks in the same DC? Is it a managed depIoyment? f yes I would use 4 Environment AG, similar to my other clients. I think this is the best practice.

But for geo connections you should use Cluster AG.
