Hi Dynatrace support,

I am looking for a solution to build a service discovery via Dynatrace. We use Dynatrace for multiple insights already and I have build some proof of concepts with Consul, but I am also working with Dynatrace discovery. I would like to specify manual dependencies between services that may show up in the service flow, add metadata, and service some intentions. Is there a UI / API specific mechanism to do this from UI / API.

Thanks,

-Marsel

Hi,

Dynatrace is already creating a topology model automatically for you, if you install OneAgent.

Anyway, you can check custom topology model.

Best regards

Hi,

Yes, you can isolate those entities. You have an example in documentation.

Best regards
