topic is using a service account for the one agent a supported configuration? in Open Q&A

Hi folks, I'm looking for a definitive answer to whether a service account can be used for the OneAgent?

The documentation i have read explicitly states thatOneAgent requires admin privileges on Windows, for both installation and operation and it also mentions using the installation parameter "USER", however it seems this only impacts the running of extensions.

As long as the service account has the needed access level, i dont see why you cant use a service account.
