Disabling an Enviornment will remove the Environment active gates ?

I have disabled one of the environment in dynatrace by going to cluster management. Then for the active gates it was showing red color. After few days I cannot find that particular active gates in cluster management. I checked in the active gate vm, the process is still running. I have re enabled the cluster now, but hosts session showing no active gates deployed. How can I fix this ?

just restart the activegate process

on windows:

net stop "dynatrace gateway" net start "dynatrace gateway"

on linux:

sudo systemctl restart dynatracegateway

also make sure that the PaaS token that you've used when installing them still exists in Access tokens

Hello @ababu

If you have disabled an environment from the CMC you can re-enable it again.
If the cluster is backed up you can perform cluster backup and restore, it will bring the configurations not the historical monitoring insights.

Solution

Re-enable the disabled environment.

AG Checks:

On each AG check the configurations settings in custom.properties file.
Stop the AG service, configure the communications settings.
Restart the AGs again, it will be connected to the cluster again.

OneAgents:

Once the AGs connection to the cluster being restored, the connected OA will keep sending the monitoring traffic seamlessly without any issues.

You can also reinstall the enviroment activegates from an enabled tenant.
