How can you monitor O365 via Dynatrace?

We are looking for a way to monitor the O365 platform using the Dynatrace product. I believe that we are currently using the below app from splunkbase top do it now:

Does Dynatrace have a similar extension?

I thnik there is not any official Dynatrace extension for this purposes. ☹️

Currently you can only send Automated Workflow emails via O365: https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/platform-modules/automations/workflows/actions/microsoft365

There is no functionality built into the product today to monitor O365 specifically. I would suggest checking on the Dynatrace Hub or looking through our extensions 2.0 docs to understand if this is something that could be monitored via extension.

With O365 being a SaaS offering, we dial back our monitoring and target their status IO page. Along with core services testing via synthetics. As a Saas solution we expect the provider to maintain the uptime/availability and our synthetics targeting those core offerings along with their status page, alerts us to any service interruptions and adds it to the over all SLO/SLA

There is the new O365 extension Microsoft 365, Office 365 monitoring & observability | Dynatrace Hub
To what extent does this cover the needs, what gaps may there still be? @ChadTurner did you investigate?
