Multi-Application Versions detection at the same Host

i have a case that there is Multi-Application "IIS" Running at the same Host

how i can set the release for each application as in the below documentation not cleared

its show the way to set it generally as per my understanding

my question here how i set the version for each app which is host in the same server?

Is this for a K8 design overall? My thought process is that maybe the IIS Process would then hold the release data and not primarily the host. It would be nice to have a Posting at the host level as overall events like.... Host X had 3 IIS Changes at 8am, 9am and 10am, and list the process/updated entity. Then provide more deeper level information at the IIS Process level that outlines the date/time of the change, the release version etc... That way as you look into one, you can see the values, vs the value of another.
