Hello,

There is a question that i cant seem to understand : "How to fine-graine business events ?" what could that mean and what is this answer for it ? The possible answers are : spand_id, trace_id or processgourp.entity_id.

This comes from the new associate exam and i'm really curious to understand and know how to answer to this.

Thank you.

Hi @Sonia_A,

In my opinion, Business Events can be fine-grained by adding extra attributes as trace_id, span_id and PGI ID (process group instance id). That's because the mentioned data will allow you to contextualize your business event for the speciffic process/trace/span and you will be able to correlate event with exact data point from Dynatrace. So that, In my opinion each answer mentioned by you is correct. Here you can look at possible enrichment attributes: OneAgent and external business event enrichment

Paweł
