User access for fetching execution plan over Databases app

Hi All,

I need to know which group policy should be provided to user so that he/she can access the execution plan tab over Database app. Currently, I have provided Monitoring viewer and log access but users are not able to fetch the execution plan.

Hi Deepak,

Greetings!

You can create a group that includes the "Standard User DPS" and "All Grail Data Read Access" policies. This will allow the user to access the Execution Plan tab in the Database application.

Additionally, you’ll need to apply policy boundaries to restrict the user's permissions at the record and resource level.

I created group with "standard user" and "All Grail Data Read Access" policies but still user are unable to access the execution plan. Can you check once please.

The group below includes the necessary policies that we’ve implemented in our environment, and it has been working well for us.
