Hi All,

I'm new to creating a SLO and wanted to know how I can create one which would alert when a Database is NOT available for 30 over minutes.

Thanks

Hey @Gib80

For continuously evaluating the availability of a DB and raising an event when meeting a specific criterion, such as your described 30min unavailability, the Davis® AI Anomaly Detector (DAD) might be more suitable: Davis® AI Anomaly Detection monitoring and observability | Dynatrace Hub

If your criteria are met, the DAD will raise an event. Davis root cause detections will automatically consider this event if any problems arise. Additionally, you can customize further steps via Workflows, such as sending targeted notifications, collecting additional information, starting a remediation process, etc.
