Hi everyone!

Like many of you, I've been spending a fair bit of my own time in the Dynatrace ecosystem — and one thing I keep running into, both for myself and watching others in the community, is that DQL trips people up early. Not because it's bad — it's actually quite powerful — but the gap between "I know what I want to query" and "I can write the DQL to do it" can be frustrating, especially when you're just starting out.

So I decided to do something about it.

I've been building stackwise-ai.com — a site dedicated to learning and experimenting with DQL. It started small (as these things always do), but here's what's in there right now:

Learn the basics — bite-sized coverage of DQL fundamentals if you're just getting started or need a quick refresher

Sandbox environments — test your queries without needing a full Dynatrace setup behind you

Arcade mode — a more playful way to practice, for when you want to make things a little less dry

All of it is a work in progress — I have a lot of ideas for where to take this, but I wanted to get it in front of people who actually use DQL day-to-day before I go too far down the wrong path.

I'm genuinely excited to see how it lands with people who actually work with DQL. The whole point is to make the early part of the learning curve a little less steep — and if it helps even one person get unstuck, that's already a win.
