Can we monitor putty session failed while connecting to a server where we have oneagent installed.

Hi,

Is it possible to monitor putty session that are failed while connecting to a host where we have oneagent installed. Can we alert whenever a session is failed.

Putty is giving error : server unexpectedly closed network connection.

You could to it via log file monitoring by defining a log event.

The if connection is unexpectedly closed there whould be a log message on the server side you can use for the pattern.

Thanks Patrick , I did not thought about log monitoring. This is a good idea it seems. Let me try this and I will let you know.
