Unmonitored hosts and third party services

Hello,

For Third party services you can in one click define a new service based on the domain. But for the unmonitored hosts you need to define a "custom device" to do the same. Can somebody confirm this is needed to add unmonitored hosts to the smartscape?

That is how we have done it. We also would also define monitored networks to set them almost as a first party network.

Another option which I prefer if you're comfortable with the API is service detection rules. You can define patterns and rules to map out how services should be detected.
