Dynatrace SAAS document correction

HI Guys,

mentioning this for a minor correction in document for Dynatrace SAAS

documentation under below link has wrong file name

correct file name : config.properties (/var/lib/dynatrace/gateway/config/)

While in document it is given as custom.properties.

Kindly make the correction.

Hi Himanshu,

I don't think that's incorrect. custom.properties can be replaced by the default settings at every upgrade but custom.properties should be retained at an ActiveGate upgrade.

Do not edit config.properties. Make all changes needed in custom.properties (and create this file if one does not exist).

My custom.properties only has below text. Please suggest if i should copy all from config.properties and paste it in custom.properties?

[synthetic]
synthetic_browser_monitors_enabled = false

Hi Himanshu,

you don't need to copy config.properties into custom.properties. config.properties is the default and you only need to copy these lines to custom.properties where you want to deviate from the default.
