Hi team,

Our customer is considering to use Dynatrace process availability monitoring for service alive monitoring.
I think it is possible if they define "open a new problem if any process becomes unavailable".
Do you think so too?
Are there anybody using Dynatrace process availability monitoring as main tool for alive monitoring?

More, I would like to know the best practice to use Dynatrace process availability monitoring.
Are there any point we should keep in mind when defining define "open a new problem if any process becomes unavailable"?

Best Regards,
Natsumi Tanaka

Hi, we are using it for one of our customer. Use it for processes which are critical to your application. So far we have not seen any problem with this approach.
