Hello

Could someone help me with OneAgent Plugin Deployment ?

I have developed OneAgetn Plugin and run it on one my Host.

It is work correctly!

But I want to ran Plugin on another my hosts.

I copied Plugin to plugin_deployment directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\dynatrace\oneagent" ) and restart oneagent services.

But it didn’t help, the plugin did not appear and metrics for this host are not collected.

the only thing that I found in the logs is this error

severe  oneagentplugin      : Failed to set user and password. "oneagentplugin.exe" - Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.  
severe  oneagentplugin      : Failed to launch process

Coluld you please tell me what I need do?

Hi Mikhail,

most likely something in your system is interfering with dtuser account. You need to remove this interference and then reinstall the agent.

What can block it? how is it better to find?

But the question why on the first machine where I developed the plugin and started everything works fine?

Hey Mikhail,

I have the same problem at the moment, did you find a way to troubleshoot this. I see that there isnt even a plugin log file generated on one of my hosts, while my plugin is working perfectly on other hosts
