Statistics based on SNMP traps, such as number of traps received, is planned for this quarter or the beginning of next. The second step, which is generating log lines for each trap received, is going to be worked on next, there is no final ETA yet so it'll be a few months at least.

There is a paid AG extension on the hub that can cover the per event requirement until then, but if you can wait until there is an officially supported method I'd strongly recommend that.

Hello,

What is for now the recommenden way to incorperate SNMP traps in Dynatrace, and is there an outlook for future, or as somebody already mentioned will traps be part of the framework 2.0 extension framework?

Having SNMP traps as log entries will be a great addition!
