    <description>&lt;P&gt;I can't speak for those actually working on this but I doubt we would see support for anything other than Python plugins anytime soon though I can see where this could be useful/necessary for obtaining certain data. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would say though that even if it did support Java plugins any existing AppMon ones would likely need to be rewritten as the architecture and how plugins/monitors are run is quite different between AppMon and Dynatrace. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;James&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Will there be an option of running Java Based plugins with OneAgent / Dynatrace Managed / Saas?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The reason I am askin is that there is already quite a few good monitoring plugins existing (MQ for example) and leveraging these would be very nice.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I also believe that for example IBM WebSphere MQ has a Java interface, but not a Python interface.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes I would guess so as well. There might of course be ways of doing similar things with python, but the example of MQ would be one case where Java would be probably the best solution.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
