MSSQL Extension running from Linux Activegate using NTLM

Hi, we have deployed the MSSQL Extension running from an Activegate group running on Linux. Using the Basic Authentication method it can connect to the MSSQL instance ok. I do see there is an option for using NTLM. Will NTLM authentication work ok from a Linux Activegate to the MSSQL instance? Or does the Activegate need to be run from Windows for NTLM to work?

We have Linux ActiveGates and use NTLM for this extension with no issues.

domain\username

username@domain.tld

@Mizső we are specifying only the account name such as <user>, no domain or anything else.

Maybe it is a stupid question but the user was a domain user or a local user on the MQ SQL server?

Ahh good call. Per our MS SQL DBAs it is a sysadmin account on each SQL server. Based off that I don't believe it is a domain account
