HAProxy State and Statistics on Non Cloud Instances monitoring

I am interested in monitoring the state and statistics of HAProxy installed on a traditional server, not within Kubernetes. Does Dynatrace support that with their current HAProxy plug-in?

Any advice appreciated.

As long as your HAProxy instance has the Prometheus exporter enabled, it will work fine. For more information: https://www.haproxy.com/blog/haproxy-exposes-a-prometheus-metrics-endpoint

Thanks for responding Michael. So to clarify a scenario:

HAProxy should have the Prometheus exporter enabled.
Dynatrace Oneagent in Full Stack mode should be installed on the HAProxy server.
No other Dynatrace plugins are required?

If we click on the HAProxy process in Dynatrace, we will see extended metrics?
Sorry if I still seem confused.
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
