Assistance with Migrating Informix Extension from Version 1.0 to 2.0

Dear Support Team,

I am in the process of migrating an Informix extension from version 1.0 to 2.0 using the official guide provided at the following link: Extension Migration Guide with Python.

I have successfully connected to the environment and created the 2.0 extension, but I am encountering an issue related to the certificate:
"Distribution of certificate file is required to execute Extension 2.0."

I copied the certificate to the ActiveGate since it is not available locally on my machine, but the issue persists.

Additionally, I have the version 1.0 code but am not familiar with how to migrate the metrics, queries, and other components, as I am just beginning to learn this process and lack advanced knowledge in this area.

I would appreciate your guidance on the following:

Is there a specific guide for migrating Informix extensions?
Are there any additional steps I should follow to resolve the certificate issue?
Should I wait for Dynatrace to develop specific support for Informix, or is there an alternative recommendation?

Hi,

1. There's no specific guide for migrating an extension, it's all generic information on how to migrate extensions in general.

2. Make sure that you put the certificate in the correct folder, and that the user which executes the extension execution controller (local system/dtuserag) has access to it.
3. If you don't want to wait and don't have the time to do it yourself, you can always contact our services department to do it for you.
