SNMP support is provided with Extensions 2.0, please see the documentation here for creating an extension.

In the current Dynatrace release there is only support for SNMP polling (no support for receiving SNMP traps by Dynatrace). Out of box extensions for generic network devices are coming soon. In the meantime you can create your own extension that will fit your needs.

I've been working with the SNMP extension now for a 2 months on-and-off. Its actually really neat. Itching though for some updates on it.

If you give it a go, join the SNMP Feedback Channel. I'm curious how others are doing with it. It's kind of lonely in the channel 🙂
