Generic network device extension

Hi All,

I am trying to use the Generic network device extension i.e., https://www.dynatrace.com/hub/detail/snmp-generic/?query=snmp&filter=all. Will this extension be used for NetApp, Brocade, and PureStorage devices?

Also, need to understand are these extensions use API calls from the ActiveGates or use snmpwalk or snmpget or any other commands.

I need to understand a bit more about these extensions. Could Anyone please help me?

Hi @prashanth_k9995 , SNMP is used for querying the devices in Generic network device extension. Below link has some detailed notes . You should be able to use this to extend monitoring for SNMP compatible devices which supports similar variables in MIB
