Hi,

I had just raised this product idea to deliver an Oracle OneAgent extension instead of ActiveGate extension.

One of benefic would be avoid false positives for network issues between ActiveGate and target databases. You can support that idea.

Best regards

Hi,

the only way to be notified if there is an network related issue between the ActiveGates and Database servers or in general "network" for the Oracle Extension is a metric based on "Alert on missing data", right? But we are receiving a lot of incidents from each database. Is there another way?
So for a real DB down we are using the "Declarative process grouping" approach but if there is no data into Dynatrace tenant and all DBs are "INACTIVE" because of a network issue not because they are really down - how could we be notified?
