What is best practice for monitoring Hyper-v?

What is the best cost-effective practice for monitoring Hyper-V environments in Dynatrace — specifically comparing Host Units consumption when using OneAgent installed directly on the Hyper-V host versus using an ActiveGate Hyper-V extension?

Hi,

I have just not done that exercise but I would install OneAgent is that is possible since it will autodiscovered processes running, and you can enable process monitoring, OS Services monitoring, log monitoring, etc.

Extension would be only my plan B if OneAgent cannot be installed for some reason.

The Hyper-V extension runs on the oneagent installed on each node of the Hyper-V cluster.
