Monitoring for such devices can be done thru importing custom metrics using the Dynatrace API. So if the device you want to monitor provides an API that contains status metrics, then you can easily query those metrics and push the metrics into dynatrace. I'm not familiar with that specific device to confirm either way.

Here's a bit more info on Custom Metrics in Dynatrace: https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/extend-dynatrace/dynatrace-api/environment/timeseries-api/manage-custom-metrics-via-api/

Support on the roadmap to monitor Dell-EMC VNX5800 in Dynatrace?

We encountered some production issues for the last day related to home directories not mounting from our NAS. A ticket was opened with EMC which is still looking into it. We have since found a workaround to the problem while they try to find the root cause. That made me start wondering though, is anything like Dell-EMC VNX5800 and / or VNX monitoring on the roadmap at all?

Thanks!
