Anyone know if it is possible to monitor IBM API Connect with Dynatrace?

Hi all,

I need to monitor IBM API connect with Dynatrace SaaS / Managed. From my understanding it should be through the ActiveGate extension. Please, if someone can confirm and deliver an example. Thanks a lot.

Hi all,

After post my question I checked IBM API Connect in ibm site, and I saw API connect is IBM DataPower Gateway-based, so I think the key is to monitor IBM DataPower, as It is described in official documentation on Monitoring IBM DataPower with AG extension

Anyone is agree/disagree with that?

You can reach out to Dynatrace One via the chat to try out the DataPower extension to see if that is sufficient for you.

Yes, in my old org I deploy the DataPower Extension. The metrics that show up are those available through the SOMA interface that DPower has and you need an AG to execute the connections.
