Dear All,

Please do some brainstorming with me to understand the following documented statements:

By default, each user session is anonymized so that the data subject cannot be identified.
Full transparency and control are available to users through the opt-in functionality, which you can integrate with your existing consent solution (Only for certain customers so that you can offer them premium support).

If all user sessions will be anonymized then, how to provide premium support (because mainly we identify the customers with their ID/Alias using the tag feature)?

If we use the opt-in functionality, will this ignore the anonymized rule and capture the user ID/Alias?

@Babar_Qayyum Thanks for raising the question and apologies for the delayed response.

With the Session Replay capability you have the ability to decide which parts will be captured on recording and which parts are be shown on playback.

If you tag users you will be able to filter their sessions by using a user tag and this will not be anonymised.

It is an added functionality and not part of Session Replay settings.
