RUM opt-out dtrum.disable error

According to this post (Using the call dtrum.disable(), you can implement a dialog that enables your end users to stop sending monitoring data to Dynatrace, even after it’s been explicitly enabled) this feature should be available now but, still, dtrum.disable() throws an error.

Any idea?

Hi Juan,

Can you help us out here and share the version of the JS agent you have there?

In the browser console please share the output of dT_.version

In the example above, you see I have version 143. That JS function - dtrum.disable() - comes in v.145.

Hi Juan,
The disable() call needs a OneAgent version 1.145. The roll out of this agent version starts next week for specific environments.

Hi Juan, No problem. And yes I raised that internally to make it clearer in the docs.

In the meantime, you can use the Opt-in mode documented here https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/data-privacy-and-security/configuration/how-do-i-configure-real-user-monitoring-for-privacy/ or use the "do not track" feature.
