How can i set up agent monitoring for a process?

for example i want for monitor the ssh process on a linux server.

Hi @ashiD , it will depends on what do you need to monitor. Is it availability? Is its performance?

First you need to see if the process is identified automatically by Dynatrace. If not, you can define your own detection rule, https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/how-to-use-dynatrace/process-groups/configuration/pg-detection

sshd , for example it is not listed as individual process in Dynatrace, and since it is not a deep monitored process, you can create a declarative process group.

If you are looking for process availability only, you can do it in host settings.

If you are looking for performance (cpu/mem) monitoring, once defined the proper process group , you can use the generic metrics and create a metric event for it.
