Dynatrace SaaS - Mobile Apps - Beacon

Hi,

in put SaaS tenant, we're configuring an App Application and in beacon sections it makes reference to a Cluster ActiveGate. There is no Cluster AG for SaaS :

Automatically, in the snipped of the App wizard Dynatrace shows the beacon and "bf14785ekq" is not out tenant:

beaconUrl 'https://bf14785ekq.bf.dynatrace.com/mbeacon'

Do you know which AG or beacon component is this?

For SaaS you don't need to worry about Cluster ActiveGates or beacon endpoints like this as it is already managed and handled by Dynatrace. You can think of that as a Cluster ActiveGate owned and managed by Dynatrace for the SaaS cluster that your environment is on.

Hey Alberto

Just to expand on what James said, the beacon signal is self contained in SaaS and you DO have an active gate on our systems, even if you don't see it. Some information will flow back through the agent back to the cluster, with the beacon you mention going right back to the DT Cluster automatically. See below for a visual.
