How to Instrument APK File for Android

i need help to learn how to instrument a mobile app for android and IOS versions.

i have visual studio but can use gradle if need it too.

i have no experience on this type of configuration, so please be patient with me!!

1-i downloaded the agent, and unzipped.

2-i do not know how to start the Auto-Intrumentor..

3-i am lost with the rest of instructions...

4...

Hi Robert,

I will suggest you follow the instructions here to do it via the command line. This contains very elaborate instructions on the instrumentation for Android. Also see link for using the Gradle plugin.

For iOS instrumentation, see link.

Do you want to instrument a Xamarian app?

Currently Xamarian is not officially/fully supported and therefore you will not be able to fully monitor your app. R&D is already working on the Xamarian support and we hope that it will be available in the near future.

i just read the fully instructions on how to auto-instrument and it work.

Now i am having more questions on how to continue instrumenting this app, also how to use all capabilities from dynatrace oneagent.
