React and UEM User Tags

I have exhausted everything I know about user Tags and no joy.

What do we use for react frontend (web browser) with nodejs backend. Also please give example.

I am seeing user actions and distributed traces but cannot get user Tags to work.

I have asked developer to try this from another post for Mobile

"this is for mobile but les see if it applies The tag is applied by using the API Dynatrace.identifyUser(<usertag>); where <usertag> is e.g. the users email address or a user id which you want to tag the session of a user."

Note : this system wont let me add React as a label?

I can't understand if you mean React (web JavaScript) or React Native (Mobile).

However, I'm telling you about both.

For Web:
There are several alternatives to configure the UserTag in those cases:

Options like:

Css selector
JavaScript variable
Meta tag
Cookie value
Query string
Server-side request attribute

For Mobile ( Reactive native) :

Years ago I was told to only use java script, for web pages, as it was the most proficient. I could not get the tag to work as the react coder had made a mistake. It is working now. We mostly use angular and so react was new to me.
