If we apply a URL cleanup rule to a URL for something like this: www.mywebapp.com/static/uniqueStuff/morestatic.aspx

to look like this

www.mywebapp.com/static/.../morestatic.aspx

Are we still able to view each request with the 'uniqueStuff' still visible or has it simply grouped all the transactions to look exactly the same?

I'm trying to get it so that we are doing a URL cleanup so that we can see overall transaction health but then can still zoom in to a particular unique URL for troubleshooting.

If you look at individual user actions (instances) in the waterfall you will still see the full url for the resource details. Later this year you will be also see the full url in the user session details.
