    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.dynatrace.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/44666"&gt;@mahsahoo&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;By default, problems will not be raised from local outages unless you set it in the settings of the monitor. By default, problems are raised for global outages.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To change this setting,&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Go to the Synthetic monitor page you have created, &lt;STRONG&gt;Settings &amp;gt; Outage Handling &amp;gt; Select Generate a problem and send an alert when the monitor is unavailable for any of the locations.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="theharithsa_0-1640137683355.png" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.dynatrace.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/3843i68FC6E06325532E0/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="theharithsa_0-1640137683355.png" alt="theharithsa_0-1640137683355.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;There was a downtime occurred and problem didn't get raised in synthetic monitoring of an application.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I could see it was a local outage gap but need to know why problem didn't get raised for that time&lt;/P&gt;</description>
