Way to add a tag to a synthetic monitor based on users who are under a specific management zone.

Our current environment is set up based on Management Zones to keep users off from each others monitors. Our ask is if a user creates a Synthetic monitor and the tagging is missed then it disappears from the user view. Is there a way we can do automated tagging based on the user who creates the synthetic monitor and tag it to be like a backup plan. Please help.

So you can have users post the Synthetic job via API which would include the tags as needed. I would recommend formulating a naming convention for the Synthetic. This will allow you to formulate a set of tags that are provided based off the name of the Synthetic. For Example: HTTP - EZTravel - DEVOPS. You could target the EzTravel segment and call it app:<Value> and therefore whatever the name is you provide, it will post it as the App:Tag, then your Management Zones could be built to looks at that particular app. So as new ones come in and old ones go, its automatically added/removed from the Management Zone.
