Hi,

I have a click path browser synthetic test running for a while now. a couple a days ago they establish a period of maintenance for the test, so i created a maintenance window for the test. The maintenance is identified correctly, the test obviously fails in that period, but this period is considered in the calculation of availability degrading the total availability even we know they are all false positives. Synthetic Classics does not consider this maintenance windows in the calculation of the availability witch is exactly what I like to achieve with DT Synthetic.

config for the maintenance window:

config for the test ( i have already test several combinations of these options, without success)

thanks in advance, friends!

Patricio

Hi @Patricio B.,

Yes, currently we always show the actual availability.
We are working on an option (on environment level) to consider maintenance windows for availability calculation. If enabled, the monitor from you screenshot would show 100% availability.

Is this what you are looking for? 🙂

Kind regards,
Philipp

Sounds good. I'm willing to bet that the majority of users would not like to have known maintenance windows degrade app availability.
