    <description>&lt;P&gt;NAM is yet another group of Dynatrace synthetic monitors. NAM acronym stands for Network Availability Monitors. Within the NAM, we have three&amp;nbsp;types of monitors:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;ICMP ping monitors that validate if the selected target is reachable over the network and answer the ping&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;TCP monitors that validate if it is possible to establish a TCP connection with a selected port on a given host&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;DNS monitors that validate if the provided name is resolved into the IP address&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
