topic Synthetic Dynatrace Beacon error in Synthetic Monitoring

Hi everyone,

A customer of ours sends us a screenshot of a problem with his application and points out that one of the errors is that the Dynatrace Synthetic Beacon endpoint shows a 404 code:

However, we have been validating and at least in the application's synthetics it works normally.

Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

Thanks in advance

Hi @soportetr

I understand that the other locations are not reporting any errors and the tests are passing correctly? It’s possible that, for some reason, your application is blocking access to that endpoint from the affected location. I had a case with a customer where Cloudflare was blocking certain IP addresses used by synthetic monitors.

Could you try creating a separate synthetic scenario using only the problematic location and see if it works? Even a very simple one would be helpful for testing.

Radek
