No text entered into field

Hi,

We have a synthetic clickpath monitor that successfully select the username and password fields on an SSO page, but nothing is entered into the fields, whether using plain text or vault credentials.

Playback shows "Your last playback was successful".

Any idea what could cause the text not to be entered? Could it be bot detection that blocks the synthetic agent from entering the text?

Have you tried the trusted events option? How to interact with trusted events in a Browser Clickpath Monitor
Sometimes there are other events that need adding also. In which case, you might need something like

How to perform click event with help of Javascript on browser

Is the playback successful? Is there anything to see in the console?

Thanks for the reply!
The playback came back as successful, even though it doesn't successfully complete the keystroke steps.

Do you mean the browser console? I see this, but I guess that's not the reason it's not typing anything into the fields.

I've read through the trusted event information and tried it before posting here, without any luck - the possibility exists that I didn't implement it correctly 🙃
I'm a bit out of my depth when it comes to JavaScript and the deeper technical bits of synthetic monitors 😅
Is there a way to get someone who understands it better, to assist us with the setup?

Hi @HannahM the client opened a ticket, but we've not had much joy to date to get this resolved - I'd appreciate it if you or someone else could take a look at it 🙂
