Should SLOs be defined for batch processing and if so what are the best practices

I work for an insurance company where there are many batch processes that run nightly as well as daemon processes that run continuously. Is it good practice to define SLI/SLOs for these processes and if so, are there some best practices like which metrics to use for SLIs, etc?

Of course it makes sense to define SLOs for key services!
