We want to integrate through a script, as the customer has only this option available at the moment. Later on, they will move to the BMC TrueSight so we can use the WebHook.

Do we have a way to use any generic plugin for this purpose like we are using in the AppMon?

There is no such thing. Only Idea I have is kid of cron script that will be executed every minute (or more often if you need) and will collect problems via DT API and then push them to BMC. But you will have to develop this kind of script.

To make sure that there will be no impact, please take a look ahead at https://www.dynatrace.com/news/blog/best-practices-for-accelerating-dynatrace-apis-within-large-monitoring-environments/. If you follow the bets practices you will be fine.

Btw it would never make sense to query the API more often than every minute, as the minimum display resolution is anyway one minute.

Hello Babar_Qayyum, we have BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management 11.3.04. Is it possible to connect Dynatrace Managed with Webhook to the BMC TrueSight event console? Our problem is what to do on the BMC side to make this work.
Which profiles/roles are necessary?
Do we need to integrate an additional application for the REST API?
in Dynatrace we have defined a Custom Integration with Authorization in Base64-encoded format and Content Type application/json

can you help us here?

We get the error message

Custom Integration test failed

Reason: Invalid HTTP status code
HTTP Response Code: 401 - Unauthorized

Hello Babar_Qayyum, the call to the URL directs me to BMC TSOM RSSO. When I enter my user ID and password I get
Error Code : 404
