topic Built-in or pre-configured anomaly detection or alerting profile templates for AWS Services in Cloud platforms

Since there are too many services provided by AWS, Are there any pre-configured templates or any option to create the rules automatically for anomaly detection/alerting profile automatically. Or do I have create metric events for almost all the services.

Hi,

I recommend for production environments to leave automatic alert thresholds - then you have a chance that Davis will learn the correct operation of your environment. Otherwise, you need to use static thresholds - unfortunately, we don't have a recommendation on what thresholds should be set.

On the other hand, you have a full list of metrics for AWS integration via Cloudwatch here:
https://www.dynatrace.com/support/help/setup-and-configuration/setup-on-cloud-platforms/amazon-web-services/amazon-web-services-integrations/cloudwatch-metrics/aws-metrics

I think if you search the web you will find recommendations 🙂

Radek
