AWS tags not updating after change in Dynatrace

Hi All,

When we update the value of a tag set on a EC2 instance in AWS I see a new tag getting created in Dynatrace against the instance instead of updating the existing tag.

For example - the EC2 instance has a tag set as Env:dev which I am trying to update to Env: Prod, when the update in done in AWS a new tag gets created in DT instead of updating the existing tag. Also when a tag is deleted from AWS it still gets displayed against the instance in DT.

Is this a expected behavior , please advice

Also is there a setting in DT that controls how frequently DT requests update from AWS?

I think the updates to tags are getting propagated to DT but it seems to be taking some time before its visible in the properties and tags , is there a setting in DT that controls how frequently DT requests update from AWS for things like updates to tags please?

I am not aware that such a configuration exists.
